I was a student at MIYA’s tutoring programme in 2015. The programme helped me to upgrade my grade 12 subject as my APS did not meet the minimum entry requirement needed to enrol at University. I am currently a 3rd-year student in BSc Chemistry and Botany at the University of the Free State. I am also a part-time volunteer at MIYA. It feels great to give back to the community by assisting youth to gain knowledge on accessing tertiary education.
